Walton Tote Bag Pattern PDF
The Walton Tote is a simple but elegant bag, with a practical zipped, dividing pocket in the lining. It can be made in a combination of fabrics, works well in two coordinating tweeds and is elevated with the addition of pre-made leather handles. The pattern comes in two sizes, both are included in this download.
This is a pdf pattern for making the Walton Tote at home. Once checked out, you will receive a link to download the digital files, which include:
- A0 pattern for printing at a print shop.
- A4 pattern for printing at home on your domestic printer and assembling yourself.
- Detailed instructions.
- A bonus tutorial on how to make your own leather tassel.
The files will be in a zip file, which you will need to 'unzip'! Although I don't know exactly how this works, it is really simple and I've always managed it myself with zero technical knowledge! However, if you get stuck, please feel free to email me at hole.house@hotmail.com and I will email the files directly to you.
The Instructions are detailed and include colour photographs as well as suggested stockists. It is suitable for Adventurous Beginners, the sewing itself isnt hard, but there is some bag hardware to fit at the end. The bag also looks great without the twist lock though, so if you are a beginner and this bit scares you, don't stress - leave it out if you prefer, your bag will still look lovely.
There is no corresponding 'Stitch a long' with this pattern, there are no video tutorials. One day this might happen, and if it does your purchase of the pattern at this price will give you access to the Stitch a long.
This is a pdf pattern download, not an actual bag!
